I love the vibrant, connected lifestyle living in downtown Little Rock offers. My husband and I have made our home here, and we’re grateful to be raising our son downtown, where he loves riding his bike and exploring neighborhood parks and trails. Together, we’ve enjoyed investing in our neighborhood and watching downtown continue to grow and thrive. For our family, downtown offers the perfect blend of walkability, locally-owned restaurants, entertainment, and a strong sense of community.

I started my food writing career in my hometown of Houston, Texas with the Houston Press’s Eating Our Words, and have been covering the often-underrated Arkansas food and drink scene for more than 13 years. In addition to maintaining my popular food blog, The Mighty Rib, I was the food editor for AY Magazine, and have been a contributing writer for Little Rock Soiree, Bourbon and Boots, Little Rock Family, Arkansas Times, PLATED: The Arkansas Dining Guide, Local Palate, and OnlyinArk.com.

Hey y’all! I’m Nathan. I’m a restaurant owner, community organizer, avid cyclist, and co-founder of Pedal Party, a 180+ participant weekly social bike ride in Little Rock. Whether you’re a casual cruiser looking for community, a fast and furious Lycra-clad weekend warrior looking to dominate the local crits, a mountain biker down to shred, or anything in between, I’d love to give you all the suggestions to best explore Little Rock on two wheels.

Hi! I’m Lane. I’ve called Central Arkansas home my whole life. I love spending time fishing and hunting with family and friends, and I believe Arkansas is the best hidden gem out there for just that. I’d love to help you find where you fit in and maybe even your next favorite honey hole.

I moved to Little Rock from a much larger city and frankly had my doubts. But after a year or two, I fell in love with the area and with Arkansas, eventually developing tourism and relocation advertising for the state and city. 25+ years later, I can honestly say I love the area and all it has to offer. I particularly love being able to leave my home or office and be rock climbing, hiking, or biking within 10-20 minutes. Add in restaurants and night spots that satisfy a former New Orleanian, and you’ve got a great place to live and thrive.

Hi! I’m Sarah Ann. I grew up near Little Rock and returned in 2018 after a decade in Northwest Arkansas. I’ve lived in the SoMa neighborhood for seven years and love it. I’m a social butterfly, often at local spots or biking with Pedal Party. It didn’t take long to fall in love with Little Rock again, and now I share its charm through my Little Rock Daily newsletter. I’d love to help you find your place in the city.

Hi! I am Tricia. I am a highly connected community builder who helps people quickly access the relationships, experiences, and opportunities that define life in Little Rock. I am actively involved across the city’s arts, downtown, and civic spaces, including with SoMa 501 and the Downtown Little Rock Partnership. I always have a go-to list of restaurants, events, and hidden gems to share. I have a talent for uncovering off-the-beaten-path the experiences that give a place its character and translating them into connections that make people feel they truly belong here.

Hi! I’m Apryl. I moved to Arkansas in 2010 and made Little Rock home in 2019, and I like to say this is where I really grew up. This city has given me the space to bet on myself, from my career to my social life, and every time I stepped outside of my comfort zone, the right people and resources showed up at the right time. I live downtown, what we like to call the living room of Little Rock, where everyone is welcome. Let’s start here and I’ll help you find your place in the city you’re about to call home.

Hi, I’m Jaime! I moved back home to Arkansas in 2016, and the first thing I did was purchase a kayak. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in all the amazing outdoor recreation opportunities that Little Rock and the state have to offer, with hiking as my favorite. Hi, I’m Nicole – a runner, CPA, and outdoor enthusiast based in Little Rock. I’ve worked in the city since 2008 and have called it home since 2012. I serve as president of the Little Rock Roadrunners Club and enjoy staying active through running, hiking, attending community events and markets, and exploring local waterways by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. I’m passionate about helping others get connected to the running and fitness community. I’m also happy to share tips for making the most of everything Little Rock has to offer.
