A Simple Start
The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration makes it easy to check important tasks off your move-in list. From obtaining an Arkansas driver's license to registering your vehicle, many services can be completed online or by scheduling an appointment to save time.

Get on the Road
Check a few driving essentials off your list. Visit the DFA to register your vehicle, complete your assessment, and obtain your Arkansas driver's license and license plate.
Cast Your Vote
Register to vote at a state revenue office, county clerk's office, or any public library branch. You can also mail your application at least 30 days before the election.
Pay Your Taxes
After assessing your property with the Pulaski County Assessor, you can pay your property taxes online, by phone, or in person at the Treasurer's office.
Sales Tax
As you settle into your new home, it's helpful to know that Little Rock's combined sales tax rate is 8.625%. Arkansas has eliminated the state sales tax on groceries, though local city and county taxes still apply.
