When my wife and I bought our first home, we wanted more than a house. We wanted a neighborhood that felt connected, diverse, and affordable.
Fortunately, we found all of that in the Pettaway neighborhood. Since moving here, we’ve discovered a community full of energy, opportunity, and local character.

Another reason we love the Pettaway neighborhood is its diversity.
The neighborhood includes historic homes, new construction, single-family residences, and multifamily housing. Consequently, residents come from many backgrounds and life stages.
As young homeowners, we appreciate seeing other young professionals choosing this neighborhood. At the same time, longtime residents help preserve the area’s strong sense of community.

Compared to many nearby areas, the Pettaway neighborhood offered more value and better access to downtown.
Additionally, the neighborhood supports Additional Dwelling Units (ADUs). We built an ADU alongside our home and now rent it out.
As a result, our mortgage is much more manageable. For many first-time buyers, opportunities like this make the Pettaway neighborhood especially appealing.
