From downtown Little Rock to lakeside events in Conway and Benton, you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy the holiday. Whether you want a major fireworks show or a small-town celebration, these are some of the best places to watch Fourth of July fireworks in Central Arkansas.

Pops on the River — Downtown Little Rock

Pops on the River ranks among Arkansas’s largest Independence Day celebrations. Each year, thousands gather in downtown Little Rock for live entertainment, family activities, food trucks, and fireworks along the Arkansas River.

The free event takes place at the First Security Amphitheater and River Market District. Guests can enjoy performances by local musicians and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra before a spectacular fireworks show over the Main Street Bridge. Fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m.

Visitors can also explore vendor markets, children’s activities, and military appreciation events. The riverfront setting creates one of the state’s most memorable Fourth of July experiences. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy this downtown tradition.

Red, White & Boom — Benton

Benton’s Red, White & Boom offers a great way to kick off the holiday festivities. The event takes place at the River Center parking lot on Citizens Drive.

Families can enjoy food vendors, live music, and activities throughout the evening. A dazzling fireworks display follows after dark.

The event’s welcoming atmosphere makes it a favorite in Saline County. Arrive early to secure a great viewing spot.

Lights Over the Lake — Conway

Lights Over the Lake has become one of Central Arkansas’s most popular summer events. The celebration takes place at Beaverfork Lake Park on July 3.

Guests can enjoy games, prizes, live entertainment, and more than a dozen food trucks. This year’s event celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with expanded festivities and a special live performance from a former American Idol contestant.

Activities begin at 3:30 p.m. and continue throughout the evening. Fireworks light up the sky over Beaverfork Lake around 9:30 p.m.

Big BANG on Main — Jacksonville

Jacksonville’s Big BANG on Main gives families another excellent option near Little Rock.

The celebration features live music, food trucks, games, and children’s activities. As the sun sets, fireworks take center stage. The event continues to attract families from across the Jacksonville area and remains a favorite local tradition.
